Cookie policy

This policy covers cookies and browser storage used by UpcomingSounds. Use Cookie settings on any page to accept, reject or change optional categories. Both categories start off. Refusing them does not prevent you from using the site.

Necessary storage

Session and security cookies support sign-in, CSRF protection and requested services. Language and appearance preferences remember your choices. The cookies ucs_analytics_consent_v2 and ucs_marketing_consent_v2 record acceptance or refusal for 180 days. Necessary storage is used to provide the functions you request.

Optional analytics

With analytics consent, site usage events and Google Analytics measure visits and actions. Google Analytics can set cookies with names beginning _ga. Our analytics can store us_analytics_visitor_id in local storage and us_analytics_session_id in session storage. Local storage persists until cleared; session storage ends with the browser session. Google describes its cookie durations in its cookie information.

Optional advertising

With advertising consent, Meta and TikTok can measure campaigns and conversions, including through Meta server events. These providers may set identifiers such as _fbp, _fbc and _ttp. See Meta cookie information and TikTok cookie information for their processing and durations.

Third-party content and services

Music and video features can contain content from Spotify, YouTube or SoundCloud. Loading content on those services sends your IP address and browser information to the provider and may use its storage. Payment, sign-in and security providers process data when you request their functions. External links take you to a separate website with its own privacy choices.

Change or withdraw consent

Open Cookie settings and select Reject optional cookies or save your selected categories. The page reloads to stop previously loaded tracking scripts, and we clear known first-party analytics and advertising identifiers that the page can access. This cannot erase records already received by a provider or cookies on another domain. You can also remove storage through your browser settings.
